Mrs R Bale, Chair of Governors – Local Authority Governor
Rachel is a solicitor specialising in litigation. She moved to Winchcombe in November 2013. She has three children, the youngest of whom attended Isbourne Valley School. She passionately believes that all children should achieve their full potential and that school is not just about educating children in terms of subjects and curriculum, but also encouraging them to see beyond their formal education, to develop skills and prepare for successful lives beyond school. She became Chair of Governors in May 2016.

Mr J Godding - Head Teacher
Justin studied history at university in London before completing his PGCE in Nottingham. He taught history at inner city comprehensive schools in Nottingham and Derby for a number of years until he moved back to Cheltenham. He has taught in several primary schools in the area and was Deputy Headteacher at a local school before joining Isbourne Valley School as Headteacher in September 2016. When he is not in school he enjoys running, cycling and watching cricket and is a Leeds United supporter.
Lord Wemyss - Coopted Governor
Lord Wemyss is the owner of Stanway Estate which includes the school at Didbrook. He taught international relations at Oxford University. His family has been actively involved in this school since its foundation.

Miss F Jauch - Staff Governor
After completing a PGCE in Primary Education in 2008, Frances moved to the Cotswolds and has taught in a number of schools across Gloucestershire and Wiltshire. She has a particular interest in developing children's writing skills.

Mrs L Fisher – Coopted Governor
Linda moved to the Cotswolds in 2007 when she retired from her role as UK Managing Director of a software and services company that had major success as a supplier to the Financial Services Sector. Linda brings a breadth of experience in marketing and general business management to add to the team. Her passion for education is partly fuelled by family with all of her closest family involved in education.

Mr J Boodle - Coopted Governor
Jon has a background in mental health and homelessness working in both London and Bristol until 2012 . He now has his own gardening business and works locally in and around Winchcombe. His eldest son goes to Isbourne Valley and his other son attends Winchcombe Abbey Primary School and he is actively involved in the local community. Due to his professional background he has an interest in working with disadvantaged individuals and believes that his skills and experience translate into his role as a parent governor. He has lived in Gloucestershire most of his life and has a strong connection to the countryside.

Mrs L Chandler-Corris - Parent Governor
Lisa is an experienced teacher having taught A Level Psychology for a number of years. She has also worked with younger children with special educational needs and is a co-author on several textbooks used in schools and colleges. Lisa lives in Toddington and has two children at Isbourne Valley School. She believes that for children to thrive at school they must be happy, feel secure and be offered a variety of activities.
