We offer in-school lessons in Piano, Guitar, Flute, Saxophone, Singing, and Ukulele. Each student will be expertly taught on a one to one basis and can choose which genre they would prefer to learn as well as the pieces that they would like to learn from either the Rockschool or Trinity classical syllabus. We work toward getting each student through graded exams and we have 100% pass rate.

 

Fees: £15 per 30 minute lesson; £10 per 20 minute lesson; £7.50 per 15 minute lesson.

Afterschool Club Information

Steam Club- (Science Technology Engineering Art Math) Run by Jen Beetson.

To engage children in creative and exciting activities with links to science, technology, engineering, art and math to celebrate the innovation that comes from integrating them.

There are 14 sessions to attend open to Reception, Y 1 and 2 and reception children will need to attend with parents, Year 1 and 2 parents are welcome but not required.

 

Karate – Sensei Ashley Grainger has been teaching Karate in Winchcombe for eight years with the Shotokan Tora Winchcombe club. It started with an after school club at Winchcombe Primary (Thursday 3-30 to 4-30) and has two evening classes (Wed 6.30-7.30 and Friday 6.30-7.30) which are open to all ages and grades. Several of the parents have joined in and many of the higher grade students attend more than one lesson a week. He has a range of grades from beginner to black belt attending. Students can gain opportunities to progress. He teaches Shotokan Karate, which is part of an association called World Traditional Karate Organisation (WTKO), and has close links with many other karate associations and Japan. 

Lunchtime Running Club- Run by Miss Fountain and Miss Green and is accessible to Year 3-6.

 The children will need to change into their PE kit after lunch and change in their school clothes after they come back

Recorder Club-Run by Miss Newbury and there is a maximum of 8 children and the recorders are provided. It’s on a first come first serve basis and children must attend every session

Running Club - Run by Miss Green and Becky Chaplin, the before school club will either be on the school field or local fields depending on ground/weather. It will be an 8am start to finish by 8:30. Running club is accessible for all children. Please can children come into school wearing PE Kit / suitable clothing for the weather and bring school clothes to change into.

 

 

Please be aware that some clubs have a minimum enrolment in order to proceed and maximum attendance, which will be managed on a first come basis. Please feel free to contact the office if you have any questions.
