Hours Per Week: 25 (22.5 as TA & 2.5 as Midday Supervisor)

Isbourne Valley School is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and confident Teaching Assistant to join the team to support a Year 5 pupil, in our friendly and caring school. The role suits someone with relevant experience. Training will be available to support the appointee in their role. You will be part of an enthusiastic and hardworking team that are looking forward to an exciting new era in the development of the school.
The successfully candidate will:
• Be hard working and have outstanding initiative • Ensure independence of the child • Have previous experience of working with children with SEND • Support learning activities to meet the outcomes of the EHCP • Support the social and emotional development of the child to meet the outcomes of the EHCP • Prepare, deliver and assess the progress of the support • Support the class teacher in order to raise standards of achievement for the child • Prepare and deliver activities as recommended by external professionals • Support lunchtime play
The Learning Support Worker contract is fixed term for 22.5 hours a week. The Midday Meals Supervisor contract is fixed term for 2.5 hours per week. The Teaching Assistant will work school hours spread over five working days.
