Reading: Please hear your child read their decodable book at least three times a week, preferably every day. Please read with your child in a quiet place for about 10 minutes and take time to talk about the book.
Phonics and spelling: Your child will receive focus spelling words, every Friday. These are to practise at home and a spelling assessment will take place the following Friday.
Maths: Your child will have a Mangahigh maths activity set every Friday. The activity will focus on a particular aspect of maths that we have been focusing on in school that week. We ask the children to take their time and attempt the activity three times at least.
