On joining Isbourne Valley School every parent and carer automatically becomes a member of the PTA. The aims of the PTA are to bring children, parents, carers, staff and governors together for social events and to raise funds for the extras. The PTA arranges various events throughout the year including discos, a children’s party, school fetes, a ‘Bake-Off’, Mother’s Day sale, Easter bonnet competition and the annual hosting of the tea room at Stanway Village Fete held in the grounds of Lord Wemyss’ Estate.

The PTA raises significant funds which have contributed over recent years to the purchase of a trim trail, tablet computers, an outside gazebo and a new whole school reading scheme to name just a few items.

Membership does not mean attending numerous evening meetings or committing yourself to a huge workload.

Each event has its own organising committee so that everyone can participate and no-one feels that they have to take on the overall responsibility.

The next event is Stanway Fete on Saturday 8th July.

Please look out for information in the newsletter and on email.

The next cake sale is Thursday 6th July - Year 6 parents to provide cakes
